Clark County School District lists 19 Magnet high schools for families applying for 2027 to 2028: 10 full Magnet campuses and 9 Magnet programs inside regular high schools. That count comes from the district's Find a Magnet School directory, checked Thursday, October 29, 2026. The same directory lists 15 middle schools, 10 elementary schools, and one K through 8 school, 45 in all.
Applications for 2027 to 2028 close Tuesday, January 12, 2027, at 3:00 p.m., per the Magnet Application Information page.
The entry type next to each high school program below comes from the color coding in the district's September 2026 Magnet Schools Catalog (English; Spanish here). Interest based programs go straight to the lottery. Criteria based programs require at least 16 of 26 points from first semester grades. Audition based programs need a completed audition. The rules are on the Qualification Requirements page, and CCSD Insider walked through the points math in its Clark High School AMSAT piece.
Addresses are from the Magnet transportation pages.

Most high school Magnets take only 9th and 10th graders because the programs of study run at least three years. Ed W. Clark High School, Las Vegas Academy, Del Sol Academy, and some International Baccalaureate programs also take 11th grade applications, per Application Information.
Which high school Magnets share a program?
A program called Cybersecurity shows up at six high schools: ATECH, Canyon Springs, Eldorado, Northeast CTA, Southeast CTA, and West CTA. It's criteria based at all six. South CTA's Cyber Defense and Advanced Computing Technology is criteria based too.
International Baccalaureate is offered at Basic, Spring Valley, and Valley. Sports Medicine is at East, South, Southeast, and West CTA. A family that wants one of those has real choices, and bus eligibility may settle it. Our Magnet transportation guide explains the zones and stop times, and our guide to comparing two Magnets runs that test on Eldorado and Southeast CTA.
The district doesn't rank its Magnets. Search results promising the "best magnet high schools in Las Vegas" are someone else's judgment.

Before you rank anything
You can pick up to three Magnet programs within five total School Choice options, per the Application Process page. Lottery preferences apply only to a first choice. Those rules, plus the full year commitment, are in CCSD Insider's Magnet parent guide.
The catalog's map page is still labeled for the 2026 to 2027 school year, and the directory carries no year at all. CCSD hasn't posted a separate 2027 to 2028 program list. Confirm the exact program name with the school before you spend a first choice on it.
The CCSD Magnet Schools Fair is Saturday, November 14, 2026, 9:00 a.m. to noon, at South Career and Technical Academy.
