Most free indoor fun in November happens between 3:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on weekdays, when the library systems run their kids' clubs. This list pulls from the Las Vegas Clark County Library District and Henderson Libraries calendars and three free admission museums, rechecked Thursday, October 29, 2026. For museum passes and Museums on Us weekend, see our earlier indoor play and free outings guide.
Dinosaur month
Several branches are calling it "Dinovember."

Little ones can try DUPLO Storytime with Real Dinosaurs for ages 0 to 5 at Centennial Hills Library on Tuesday, November 17, at 10:45 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. (listing).
Pokémon events at Las Vegas libraries
Pokémon Trading Card Game Club meets the second Friday of each month at Rainbow Library, 3150 N. Buffalo Drive. November's is Friday the 13th, 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Cards are not required, and it is for ages 18 and under and families (listing).
Family After Hours at Henderson's James I. Gibson Library is the same night, 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with "all kinds of Pokémon themed activities" while the library is closed to everyone else (listing).
Pokémon Biology at Spring Valley Library is Wednesday, November 18, at 4:00 p.m., for elementary students ages 6 to 11 (listing).
LEGO and building
LEGO clubs run somewhere almost every weekday. A few that fit an after school pickup:
Tuesdays: Green Valley Library in Henderson at 4:00 p.m. (November 3) and West Henderson Library at 3:30 p.m. (November 3).
Wednesdays: Spring Valley Library at 4:00 p.m. (November 4) and Windmill Library LEGO League at 4:30 p.m. (November 4).
Fridays: East Las Vegas Library, 2851 E. Bonanza Road, at 4:30 p.m. (November 6).
Henderson's LEGO League listings say "We'll provide the LEGOs" and are for families; Spring Valley's club is for kindergarten through grade 5, and East Las Vegas lists ages 6 to 17.
Henderson Libraries programs use passes. Its listings say to stop by the Customer Service Desk up to 30 minutes before the start to pick one up, because space is limited.
Video games
Family Video Game Hour at East Las Vegas Library runs Tuesdays at 4:30 p.m., including November 3, 10, and 17, with new Super Smash Bros. characters. It is "Free and open to the public," for all ages (listing).

Free snacks and homework help after school
Kids Cafe serves free meals for children ages 3 to 18, with food from Three Square Food Bank, according to the Clark County Library listing. On Tuesday, November 3, the Library District calendar shows Kids Cafe at Whitney Library (2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.), Sunrise, Clark County, West Las Vegas, and Enterprise libraries (3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.), West Charleston and Spring Valley libraries (3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.), Rainbow Library (4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.), and East Las Vegas Library (4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.). CCSD no school days in November
CCSD has no school for students on Tuesday, November 3; Wednesday, November 11; and Thursday and Friday, November 26 and 27, for Thanksgiving, according to the 2026 to 2027 School Calendar for Students. Wednesday, November 25, is also marked no school, but the calendar lists it as the First Contingency Day, so it could become a school day if CCSD needs one.
November 3 is also Election Day. Several libraries double as voting sites that day, including East Las Vegas Library, which its listing calls "an official Clark County voting location," open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Expect busier parking. Kids programs still run that afternoon, including Kids Cafe and Family Video Game Hour.
For November 11, Veterans Day, the Library District calendar showed one program when we checked, a virtual author talk for adults; three others are cancelled. The Barrick's site does not say whether its galleries open that day, so plan on the free Clark County Museum in Henderson, open daily 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or the Pinball Hall of Fame instead.

The listing calls the festival free; questions go to 702 507 3459.
North Las Vegas libraries
The North Las Vegas library calendar would not load when we tried it Thursday, October 29, and earlier showed only past events, so November dates could not be confirmed. In early October it listed Kids Cafe from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Alexander, Aliante, and City Hall libraries on weekdays, a LEGO Club at City Hall Library, and Junior Makers 3D printing. Check the calendar before you go.
