Type your street number, street name, and unit into CCSD's Zoning Search to see the elementary, middle, and high school assigned to your Clark County address.
Clark County School District tells Las Vegas, Henderson, and North Las Vegas parents to look up the elementary, middle, and high school tied to a residential address with Zoning Search. The Zoning Search button on ccsd.net/zoning opens the district's ArcGIS map (checked Wednesday, October 7, 2026 PT). The district's own Parents page describes Zoning Search as the way to find a student's school by home address and keeps School Search as a separate find by name directory.
How do I look up my zoned school in Zoning Search?
Open Zoning Search from ccsd.net/zoning, from the Parents tools list, or from the "Click here to Search for your Child's Zoned School" link on the Enroll page, where register.ccsd.net now lands. All three open the same ArcGIS app. When the welcome panel opens, click its button to enter an address, then type in the search box marked for a residential address. The app says to enter only the residential street number, street name, and apartment number if applicable, and it warns that valid unit numbers are required for apartment addresses. Clear the search location before you run a second address.
If the address will not resolve, including a unit number the app will not accept or a newly built home, the app's no results message tells parents to call Demographics, Zoning, and GIS (DZG) at 702 799 6430 or submit an Address Search Request, the parent and guardian form also linked on the DZG site.
The results panel lists the schools that address is assigned to for the 2026 to 2027 school year. The DZG site at dzg.ccsd.net also frames the same address search as a way to pull assigned schools, contact information, websites, and bus eligibility. Treat the map as the district's posted reference, then confirm with DZG or the school if anything looks off.
The app's disclaimer reads: "This GIS tool is provided for general reference only for Clark County, Nevada, residents for the purpose of determining neighborhood school boundary assignments and should not be considered a legal document. All school attendance boundaries are subject to change by School Board of Trustees action." The same disclaimer sends parents to ccsd.net/enroll for proof of address information.
How is a zoned school different from Magnet or Open Enrollment?
A zoned school is the neighborhood campus tied to the official residence of the parent or guardian. That is the default path for most students. Zoning questions go to Demographics, Zoning, and GIS.
Magnet is a themed School Choice pathway. Students from across the district may apply regardless of region, with separate qualification and lottery rules on magnet.ccsd.net. Open Enrollment, formerly Change of School Assignment, is a capacity based request for a seat at a participating school outside the zone. It is not Magnet, and schools over capacity are not in the process. Magnet, Open Enrollment, and Central Technical Training Academy share one SchoolMint School Choice form for 2027 to 2028, with a January 12, 2027, on time deadline covered in CCSD Insider's School Choice open window guide and Open Enrollment rename guide.
What should I do after Zoning Search shows my school?
Write down the elementary, middle, and high school names the map returns. Then register through the district's online system. Families with students already enrolled register again or add a child through Campus Parent, and Back to School tells them to contact the zoned school with registration or Campus Parent questions. Families new to CCSD or returning after leaving CCSD register at ccsd.net/enroll, then bring all required documents to the child's zoned school, per the Enroll page and the district's 2026 to 2027 registration release (checked Wednesday, October 7, 2026 PT).
Have these ready, per the Enroll page and the registration release:
Proof of address: one recent utility bill, rent receipt, residence lease, or sales contract. The Enroll page says a driver's license, telephone bill, or cable bill is not acceptable.
Parent or guardian personal identification: a valid driver's license, picture identification, or similar ID bearing your name. Back to School adds that permanent and temporary guardians should be ready to show guardianship proof.
Proof of the child's identity: original birth certificate, passport, or certified birth card from a health district. Photocopies are not accepted on the Enroll page list.
Immunizations: Nevada law requires documentation unless a religious or medical exemption applies. Details sit on the registration pages for 2026 to 2027.
If the household shares housing and the usual proof of address is hard to assemble, CCSD's Parents page points families to Shared Housing for that proof path. Families in temporary or homeless situations can call Title I HOPE at 702 855 6682, which Back to School and the Enroll page both list for enrollment help.
For general education transportation, CCSD says it buses students who live two or more miles from their zoned school, measured along dedicated streets or roads, per Regulation 3531, with exceptions that may apply. Check eligibility and stops at transportation.ccsd.net or call 702 799 8100. Magnet bus rules and Open Enrollment's no district bus rule are different systems; do not assume a choice seat rides the same route as the zoned campus.
Who do parents call when Zoning Search will not resolve an address?
Demographics, Zoning, and GIS: 702 799 6430. The Zoning Search app and Back to School both send zoning questions to that DZG line. More boundary maps, capacity reports, and AZAC material live on the DZG site.
Registration questions after you have a campus name go to the zoned school first. Broader School Choice questions go to the Magnet Schools Department at 702 799 8492 or the Open Enrollment Department at 702 799 1040.
If the map stalls on a unit number, call 702 799 6430 before you guess a campus.
